High school kids dominate and control the music industry and the profit that can be made from the music produced. Adults are not interested in buying Cd's nearly as much as kids from ages 13-23 are. Kids are more technologically advanced as well, they know all about lime-wire and other "free" sources to get the music they want and that takes the legs away from the music industry and ruins there profits.
