The Song is "Perfect Gentleman" and the artist is Wyclef Jean. It was released in 2001 and was the second single to be released from Wyclef's second album 'The Ecleftic: 2 Sides II a Book'.

Although the single didn't do well in America, it was a big International hit and reached number 4 in the UK (number 2 in Belgium).

Rapper Hope Harris sings a guest line on "Perfect Gentleman" and he also co-wrote the song along with Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis and Wyclef Jean himself.

My favourite line is "Called up my mama, said I'm in love with a stripper, yo" if that was real, I would love to have been a fly on his mother's wall when she took that phone call!

Wyclef was born in Haiti but moved to the USA when he was 9 years old. In 2010 Wyclef applied to be a candidate in the Haitian presidential election but was unable to continue as he had not met the requirements, which involves having lived in Haiti for 5 consecutive years leading up to the election.

Wyclef was a member of the group 'The Fugees' who, you may remember, had a big hit with their cover of "Killing Me Softly" in 1997.

Here is the video of "Perfect Gentleman" for your viewing and listening pleasure :-)
