• The origins of The Ranger$
As with many dance crews, The Ranger$ dance crew developed their experience of dance, and their unique style of "Jerkin'" dancing which has since swept through the US, on the streets, learning from other dance crews in dance battles, and from each other. As the group became more skilled and more popular, they began dancing in their school yard and earned a great deal of local attention. Eventually they began to post home-made videos on websites such as YouTube and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace.

While the dance crew are considered pioneers of dancing by many, The Ranger$ also sparked a fashion and a style attitude which rejected the typical hip-hop style of baggy jeans and chain belts. Typical Jerkin' apparel, sported by The Ranger$, includes brightly colored graphic tee-shirts, tight or skinny jeans in bright colors, and high-top shoes such as Converse or Nike brand, also in bright colors.
• The Ranger$ career to date
Along with fashion and style, The Ranger$ also engage in other creative endeavors, such as acting and singing. Their debut album, Jerkin' Is A Habit Volume One, was a 12-song record released in November 2009, which gained 4.5 out of five stars on iTunes for customer satisfaction with the album. Jerkin' Is A Habit Volume 1.1 was a revised edition of their first album, with a number of new tracks. Another of their albums, entitled The Takeover, was released in November 2010 and enjoyed equal success to their first albums.
