You when I heard savior, I decided to go listen to her other songs I had again, I was like this Girl has to be Christain, most of her songs talk about God and stuff in one way or another. Lol its actually very cleaver, she tells people about Jesus without them realizing it. Love it.
thanked the writer.

She has a german tattoo which reads:

“Jetzt und immer die Segen von der Vater und bleibst Unschuldig bis Er kommt”

Which translates into:

“Now and always have the blessing of the father and remain blameless until the end”

Which is similar to what is said in Ephesians 1:3-6 in the Holy Bible, when it states:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved"

So I think it does mean LIGHTS Poxleitner is a born again Christian, meaning she accepts Jesus Christ as her Savior!

Yup! She's signed on a non-christian recording company so she can't be obvious in her lyrics but...she doesnt have too :) God shines through her music in some songs. Her first song that kick-started her was when she picked a verse out of the Bible. Bam, Lights.

Actually, Owl City (who she is touring with) is Christian too, you just have to look closely at Adam's lyrics, and again, he is signed to a secular label, so explicit mentions of God are limited, but the song Meteor Shower really is pretty obvious about God.

I believe so. Her parents were missionaries. Her tattoos talk about the wisdom of God. And in the first line of her album credit thanks, she "thanks Jesus for making me and giving me everything I am". Also, "Saviour"? Come on!

Her song "I owe you one" seems like a beautiful thanks to God to me! I'm glad she includes Him in her music. It rocks.

Lights has said herself before she's a Christian.

Some people on here are giving false information however.

Lions! And Saviour are about World Of Warcraft, with some similarities to her Christianity.

Lights said so on her Twitter.

In the album booklet to Siberia, in the Thank You's, in the very first line:

"I would like to thank the Lord Jesus for keeping me alive, patient and inspired, and keeping my eyes up."

In another interview (www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGi2ocZZ2fM), at around 8:00 she mentions her "unshakable faith" and that she doesn't say much about it because she doesn't like the idea of "preaching to people" her personal beliefs, but that she believes she has been fully convinced of a God. Lights seems pretty close to her family as well...her parents are both missionaries. Lights is certainly a Christian. However we may feel about that is up to us but it is what it is.

I would agree with all the above comments. But I was introduced to her music through a music video. The outfits she wears...eh... But it all depends on if the record company set parameters.

People are Christians, things are just things.  The goal of most musicians (I would think) is to take music that means something to them, and that has a positive message (and not necessarily an evangelical one), to a world that needs to hear it. Whether that message helps you get closer to Buddha, God or Allah, that's up to you.

I think Lights is Christian because of Saviour, but I was confused by because she toured with Owl City who isn't christian (I think)
but nevertheless, I've never heard Lights swear in her songs I love her no matter what. If she is christian well that's a plus!
