I don't think Ivory soap lasts any longer than other store brands...if you want to know a little secret, the longest lasting soaps are 'french milled'...no, it has nothing to do with France, that's just the name of the process whereby soap is ground up into tiny pieces, then re-formed under great pressure...whenever you see a soap that has "french milled" on the label, grab it!! It'll last forever...and no, Ivory is not french milled...none of the store brand soaps are, as it is an expensive process, so you'll pay a little more for french-milled soaps, (try to find them on sale!!) but they are well worth the money!

Lovary soap is a pure natural soap. Longer wise usable. It is a expensive processing of nature. Lasted and longest beauty bar soap is good for health.

I had always been told that 'Ivory soap', lasted the longest. However, If you take soap out of the box or plastic container, and let it set in the air for a week or 2, then it will harden some, and last longer.

Personally, I think handmade goat milk soap lasts longer than any store brand soap.  If you find a master soap maker who really knows how to blend the right boost of ingredients together, you can have a really long lasting soap.  All soaps should be stored in a well drained soap dish, to extend their endurance.
