The Zen player can play three primary types of audio files which are MP3 format, WMA and the WAV format. If you purchase a CD, the music is going to be in the WMA format and you can easily upload the songs to your Zen by putting them on your computer. Other than that you can also download songs from various websites and softwares like Kazaa, Morpheus etc. Here songs are available in many formats. You can then put that music onto your Zen.
