Topshop the name which has become synonymous with the retailing industry in the UK first set shop in 1964 in Sheffield; the location was a department store called Peter Robinson. Topshop moved from the premises in the following year and established itself in the basement shop of the same store located in the Oxford Circus area.

The arrangement continued for almost a decade when Top Shop decided to go independent as a stand alone retailer. Today Topshop thanks to the vision of its brand director Jane Shepherdson has truly become a nation wide entity in the world of fashion with more than 300 stores spread across the UK with the one located at Oxford Store being the largest of its kind in the world.

The popularity of the Topshop brand is attributed to the variety and quality at downright affordable prices an unbeatable and irresistible combination. The range of items offered by Topshop covers everything from tops, jeans, knit clothes, trousers, dresses, hosiery, leggings, coats and jackets, shoes and accessories among others.
