I watched the Exorcist when I was about 8 years old and had nightmares for weeks after.  I remember that I became scared of going upstairs in our house without someone else. Now when I watch it it doesn't seem quite so scary.  A very close second was the original shining. I will never get the voice and image out of my head REDRUM.  That gave me the chills!

The first movie to really scare me was the original House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price back in the sixties. It is still my favorite and memorable.

I don't get scared that easily from movies but the original salems lot by stephen king freaked me out as did jeepers creepers when I was little.  for the longest time I thought they were living in the shadows of my bedroom.

Haunted Prison. Its the goreiest, bloodies, most violent and pointless movie I've ever seen in my entire life.
