You know, I didn't know M.J personally but it hit me real hard. It's just very sad. 50 years old is very young to die now days. Plus c'mon it's the freakin KING OF POP. I love music with a passion and it is truly just a sad situation. I hear many people that say "Oh it's about time that child molester died" I get p.o'd with that crap. I do not know if he did do it or not, but I will say this... Everyone of those parents settled out of court. If that was my child, I would have drug that case out until he was behind bars or I saw him hang. But all in all I am very devastated by the death of Michael Jackson.

Oh now it fu*king posts...whatever...anyways what i said is: What parent could watch the person that violated their children go free for a paycheck? Not a very good one and that's all you need to say about the parents of those kids. Either they don't care or they know it didn't happen.

I totally agree with you. It just sickens me to even think about that situation.

I'm pretty much neutral. On one hand, he deserved to die, so I was pretty happy about that, but on the other hand... I guess I respected him mostly for being the King of Pop and being the (in my eyes) greatest dancer ever. :P I don't think I'll miss him, though. He was an embarrassment. I do feel kinda bad for his kids, though.

Doesn't affect my life in one bit. I like his music enough, but I'm not about to lament the guy like I knew him.

But how awesome would it be if this was all a publicity stunt, and at the funeral he pops out of the casket and starts doing the thriller dance? That would be sweet.

I would have to jump right in and join. Thriller was the ish! And I know the dance... I don't know if that makes me a dork!

I feel SO BAD FOR HIS FAMILY! But his life really sucked, like when he was black but is now white, so he probably wasn't ready to die. :(

I t hit me hard too. I feel bad because of his family. I guess we can say he is no longer suffering. But the family is and the those of us that liked him are. I feel really bad for his children. I had almost forgotten that he had them, since you dont see them very often or here about them. His music will live on!

Very Very SAD! It was a shock! It is still very hard to believe. I never would have thought in a million years he would die this young. I appreciate him more now than ever as I kinda of just took him for granted, thinking he would just come up with something fabulous again. I am 54 years old and feel like I lost a part of my youth. I just wish they would lay you to rest ...and let you sleep in the arms of the angels. Thank you Michael for your wonderful energy and voice. God Bless! Sharon

Horrible. Know two of the Kings of music are dead. Elvis and Michael. Who is next, Madonna? Know there is no King of anything.

Actually, Ozzy is the #1 king - definitely of heavy metal. When/if he goes, i will be as upset as everyody else seems to be about michael jackson. But i could care less about madonna.

Oh, and the word "now" (as in the present) is spelled "n-o-w", not "k-n-o-w."

Sorry about that, and yeah, Ozzy is probably #1 King for heavy metal. True, I wouldn't care AS
much for Madonna.

To me, Ozzy IS the king of heavy metal. If to you, Ozzy is "probably" the king of heavy metal - any ideas on what other person might be in contention for this crown? I couldn't think of any.

I feel badly for those that he has left behind, namely his 3 children. It is ironic that all the greats have died due to drugs....elvis, jacko, hendrix, jim morrison, janis joplin, & the list goes on, unfortunately...

It was surprising yes. A major shock. But i got over it, and everyone was still dragging it on. And making such a huge deal saying he was murdered..i mean come on! The guy was a druggie seriously all those medications he was effed up on, he brought it on himself. He murdered himself. He should have thought about his kids & what he was gonna leave them too instead he wanted to pop those pills. Selfish man he was.
