I was working in a bar in London a few years ago, and one night noticed a pretty blonde sitting alone at the end of the bar.
She looked a little bored, so I was planning to go over and entertain her with my charming customer service (just trying to be a good bartender), but I kept getting interrupted by customers asking for drinks...
It was while I was making a drink for one of these customers that, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a stranger had sat down next to her and was talking to her.
Random guys talk to girls all the time in bars, I know - but this was a unique situation; because the guy that was chatting her up was Gordon Joseph Levitt!
I don't know what he was doing in London, I think it was around the time Inception came out, so maybe he was there for the film's UK premiere or something...
But anyway, my point is she ended up leaving with him.
Now I don't know if that was their first encounter, or whether she was his girlfriend sat there waiting for him to show up - but either way, she showed some romantic interest in him, so there's at least 2 of you!
And if you search the web for GJL fansites, you'll soon realize there are actually quite a few teens that feel the same way you do.
So, at least you're not alone in feeling this way. But on the other hand, there's stiff competition too.
