Yeah I been wondering same thing since I started watching Real Housewives of Atlanta (I'm a Georgia girl born and raised), so I did some studying up and this what Nene has to say:
"And for the record, I am not against plastic surgery. I believe that any woman that wants to do anything or fix anything that bothers her — if she's doing it for herself — I'm all for it. I've heard that I've gotten a lighter complexion, as if I've bleached my skin. I think that is so stupid and ludicrous. For those who want to bleach their skin, that's fine. I just didn't bleach mine. I'm a black woman. I don't want to be anything but a black woman."
So she doesn't have a problem with people changing the way they look, but she says she's black and proud and would never bleach her skin.
Can it be true though, considering she looked way darker at the beginning of the show? Maybe she was just tanning lots then...
Or she been using some crazy ass foundation
