Despite being one of the great instruments of antiquity, the lyre, and indeed the lute, appear to remain largely undiscovered by the internet. A good place to start though would be lyremusic.com, where you can purchase tab books for lyre and lute, for music from medieval and renaissance times.

Naturessong.com has the chords for four songs for the lyre, including Amazing Grace, as well as additional information on the instrument. Despite promising to make further songs available, the site doesn't appear to have been updated since 2009.

There are a couple of books available on Amazon.com which might be of help: Making, Playing and Composing on the 10 Stringed Lyre Harp by Abbot David Michael and The Lyre Handbook by Mary K Savelli.

The lute appears to be better served than the lyre, with all styles of music at contemporaryandmodernlutemusic.doomby.com. Or, visit modernlutemusic.com to find out more about songs you can play on the lute.

Blurtit users have posted questions about the lyre in the past, so check out What are the lyre chords of Payphone? or Where Can I See The Chords For Lyre?

A YouTube user called Michael Levy has posted a great deal of lyre music, perhaps you could leave a request for chord for songs on the lyre in the comments field under one of his films?
