Never again will we suffer under the tyranny of bulky plastic cartridges! Never again will we have to "be kind; please rewind." So no, I do not miss VHS tapes. Good luck my friend!

Yeah, the modern technology indeed has proven to be the middle child who always had to sit in the front to smack the vhs if it snapped.

I still have my favorites. I go back in time when I take a bath at the end of a long day. I soak in epsom salt, sea salt & baking soda. I have my TV with the built in VCR in there so I soak & watch movies.

I'll admit, there are a few movies I had on VHS that I loved. Nothing wrong with that technology, I just prefer today's tech. I love having all music on my phone instead of my old box of cds and cassette tapes, lol. I love having Hulu or Netflix where everyting is at my fingertips. Plus, I have a lazy nature and it shows with modern technology, haha.

I do, just because all my favorite old movies that I grew up with are on VHS tapes. I don't plan on buying the DVD's of them because there are too many, and some don't even come in DVD format. Converting them would be a hassel too, so yeah, I miss those VHS days of old.

Yes and I also miss Betamax and 8 track tapes. Nothing like storing and handling large and bulky tapes.

Firstly I had to convert all my Beta tapes to VHS when the last of my Beta machines died and they stopped making Beta tapes. Then no sooner than the Beta to VHS conversion is finished out came the DVD. In my opinion they will be replaced soon enough.

Although with all the "Cloud" services popping up you can buy a video on line, store it in the cloud then view it on almost any device. So eventually you will not need a tape, or a disk or a player.

Then in the far future you will buy a pill with a movie embedded in it and have the movie permanently memorized.
