It's fine as long as they don't go to far. Nothing wrong with a good laugh. Just know when it's time to stop for a while as some do get irritated if it's an all the time thing.

For me, it's totally fine until due to any reason I tell them to stop & they don't, that's where I'll make them regret.
But I just read it as you said, you asked this for the site, I should say, you'll be fine, just make sure you recognize your opposite to not cross any limits. I'm okay with that attitude, cause I have a bit of it as well, so we're in the same team! Lol!

I learned long ago that a real person never makes people laugh at the expense of others but actually uses theirself as the material to which to make others laugh. That way no one gets offended or gets their feelings hurt

A little teasing is usually fine. It all depends on the person though. If they don't have great self esteem to begin with, it could be hurtful, even if you didn't mean it to be.
