Might be disappointing. It's fun -- I took Mrs Didge for a balloon ride on her 60th birthday -- but not nearly as exciting as hang gliding. (You can go tandem.)

I always wanted to be that person pulled out of the crowd during a concert to play one song with the band. Kind of like this.

I've only been skating once. I took my 13 year-old son who had also never skated. I had a bet that he would fall over more times than I did, and I was right. He had fallen 12 times and I was still on my feet and getting confident. Really confident. Too confident. >:-(

My feet shot out in front of me and my head hit the ice so hard that it could be heard above the very loud, rock music. It stopped all activity as the attendants rushed over to help.

Blood on the ice? You wouldn't believe how much, but your head does bleed very easily if you hit it the right way.

Anyway that was my only attempt at ice-skating, but at least I beat the lad 12 to 1. :)

Perform on Flute at Sydney Opera House, although it's unlikely I will as I'm going down a more 'sciencey' pathway at school. :-)

One of my friends was rehearsing Carmen at that venue when a party of tourists paused to watch. The conductor stopped the rehearsal, turned to the tourists, and had them sing along. Then he said, "Now you can go home and tell your friends you've sung in the Sydney Opera House."

Travel as many places as possible. I am working on that. I am going to Hawaii in about two weeks. When asked what she wanted to do for her 75th birthday, my mom said she always wanted to go there. So that is what we are doing.
