It promotes house trailers, pickups, hound dogs, beer guzzling, broken hearts, cowboy hats, line dances, sawdust bar rooms, cowboy boots, spurs...

I've seen a recurring theme in Country music as love, small town life, partying by the bon fire, breakups, drinking, trucks, farming, family, patriotism, and building a good life. If this is for homework, I would suggest listening to some of the more famous artists of the old and new Country to experience it for yourself. Try out these artists: Florida Georgia Line, George Straight, Garth Brookes, and Carrie Underwood.

Well, there you go! That gives you a taste of Country. I agree, she is quite the singer. My favorites of hers are Little Toy Guns and Just A Dream!

Simply put ... Country music is like ANY music - it promotes what you want it to promote.

The singers don't really care what, if anything, you get out of it ... They're just in it for the money.

You're the naive one. i'm for sorry if you feel like this. i can make conversations about this but you stuck strongly in your own small world. there's nothing further i can tell to convince you otherwise. enjoy this world you living in. good luck.

No, you can't convince me otherwise ... because "talk is cheap" and "actions speak louder than words" ... and their actions support my view.

I mean, c'mon. How many times do you need to see a celebrity with millions of dollars on a show trying to win a thousand dollars for their favorite charity - before you start asking "Why don't they just give some of THEIR millions to the charity, instead?"

I'm sorry, i'll tell everyone to take a pass from you and inform you and first call you and take video tapes for you, when they done charity.

Sex and alcohol? Really? I hear more about small town living, and loving. Finding the joys in the simpler things in life.
