It's highly possible but my biggest question about it is : Why all of these years later did these women come forward with these allegations? I guess I always saw him as a great comedian and don't really want to believe it. I'm going to have to read more on it now and see where any proof exists.
2 only maybe. The rest Hollywood's 15 minutes of fame and a good possibly to get lots of free money, free rent, jobs and interviews.
I believe half of what I read, which means probably half of what's out there on the subject matter has a grain of truth to it. With time things can become covered up and also exaggerated . Can I picture him with those soulful looking eyes doing these horrible deeds and getting away with secrets ?... Perhaps. He's an actor and a human after all.
At his age, all this stress on him will not be good for his health. I fear the worst for him before all this can even become resolved or proven in a court of law. We may never hear the complete truth.
I don't know. There's a possibility: I'd be foolish to rule that out. Rape is a very serious accusation but there are plenty of wo/men who have made false claims.
Not to mention the fact that some of those women were very high profile and they waited for decades to say something. It casts a shadow of disbelief on their claims.
But I would need damning proof to say absolutely. A lack of evidence isn't the evidence of absence or simply evidence.
I believe it's likely.
And to answer the question of: Why all of the women would come forward now? >> For the same reason people come forward years later about any abuse. EG: Catholic priests. Because they were too scared or ashamed or intimidated at the time ... But as they hear of other victims coming forward, that (fear, shame, intimidation) is reduced.
