I liked Alan Rickman ! He could play a bad guy or a good guy ! Great sarcasm. Reminds me of Ray Dart ! LOL

Alan Rickman was a real talent.

In most cases, pancreatic cancer gives little or no notice. Rickman had more notice than most, because he had a minor stroke which sent him to the hospital, where the cancer was also diagnosed in August of last year.

Wow. That's terrible!

One of my cousins got in a car accident, wound up going to the hospital, and they diagnosed him with pancreatic cancer and performed a surgical removal the very next day. He has always been extremely lucky. Who would have thought a car accident could save someone's life?

WOW, really. My coworker fortunately was not. I have the day ingrained in my mind, we were walking up a series of stairs, and he had to stop at each landing, which is when he said the part about the energy. I was nearly in shock when he said he had 6 weeks to live, but was really blown when he died in 2 weeks. I wasn't close to the guy, in fact I even got into spats with him at times (we worked for 2 different companies and I was a subcontractor supervisor), but it made me see just how fragile life can be.

That's true. We're here one moment, and the next we're not.

I loved the passion that Alan brought to any character he played. He was so versatile it was very sad when I heard he'd died :(
