Chuck Norris is probably one of the toughest SOB's. He was top dog 4years in a row in the martial arts circuit when "Padding (Sparring gear)" was optional. He was beaten by Joe Lewis and then he came back the next year to kick Joe's butt and take back the championship. Chuck is the Real Deal for sure.
Jet Li and Donnie Yen held some rankings but mostly in "Style and Forms".

Chuck was my TV hero many years ago. Not such a great actor but a stupendous butt kicker.

Fun fact, Hong Kong was looking for Jackie Chan to take the place of Bruce Lee for their premier Martial Arts action start, but Jackie wanted his characters to be more comical then serious . . . "Drunken Master II" is one of his best movies.

Bruce Lee was The Man, hands down, and remains the standard all others are measured against, but currently I got to go with Jason Statham.

While I enjoyed many Bruce Lee films and Chuck Norris films in my youth. I find myself drawn more to Jet Li and Donnie Yen now. I have really enjoyed all the "IP Man" sagas with him as the star.

Here is a scene from IP Man 3:
