My reflection in the nursery glass the first time I held my newborn son.
What's the coolest thing you ever witnessed?
A circular rainbow. I was on the 42nd floor of an office building, standing at the corner of the building, and the sun was shining through a light shower of rain. The rainbow could be seen to reach the ground on both sides of the building. Magical sight.
This is not quite the same thing but my son took this photograph of his own shadow on a cloud as he flew above it in his hang glider. I've never seen another photograph quite like it. It was taken at Stanwell Park, just south of Sydney, and the white flecks seen through the cloud are breakers washing up on the beach.
The birth of my niece ... Lol :) not really but I feel like I'm supposed to say that :p I love my niece so very much .. More than anyone really .. And when my sister asked me to be with her during the birth of course I said yes cos , I love my sister :) but I wanted to vomit the whole time cos what no one ever tells you is the smell is disgusting :/ maybe parents don't notice cos they're parents ... I don't know :/ anyway the coolest thing I ever saw was a double rainbow !!! I have a pic on my phone somewhere but I have no patience to hunt for it now ...
