Not really. Don't care much for Pop anyway and Korean pop is just too corny. I'll pass.

No. I haven't heard a lot of it, but from what I have heard sounds more like a jingle from a commercial than any actual song.

YAAAASSSSSS!!!!!!

Okay, in all seriousness, I am a fan of K-pop. I secretly want to be a K-pop star but, like most fans, I do not have the looks or the height to be recruited by their entertainment industries. Also, they do intensive training in singing, dancing, and (if you can't speak Korean) learning to be fluent in Korean that sounds exhausting. I am currently just content with listening to their music and learning choppy Korean in order to sing along haha!

However, recently I've been into Jay Park who had his beginnings in K-pop but is deviating from that. Like his old stuff such as "Joah", "I Like 2 Party", "Girlfriend", and "I Just Want To Know Your Name" are definitely more K-pop but then his later stuff like "Mommae" and "You Know" are more rap or hiphop. Then again, he did "My Last" which was K-pop but was on the same album as "You Know" so maybe he's just doing his own thing.

But don't get me wrong, I've listened to some of BTS's and Twice's recent stuff and they are good (though not part of the BTS Army yet lol). I kinda have been reminiscing on some not so new K-pop like "Hands Up" by 2PM, "Run Devil Run" and "Gee" by SNSD, "Overdose" by EXO, "Eyes Nose Lips" by Taeyang, "Fantastic Baby" by BigBang, and "I Don't Care" by 2NE1. Most of my K-pop I listen to are actually songs from K-drama though so they're usually not as known unless they were from a super popular drama like Boys Over Flowers.

Okay now I'm just going on and on about K-pop that you probably didn't need to know and doesn't really add to answering your question. Yeah I'm done now.
