I usually listen to sports talk radio when I'm in the car.

There's an Australian station that broadcasts news and magazine-type material all day. Good stuff. The problem is that when parliament is in session they broadcast that instead and there's no way I'm going to listen to a bunch of politicians honing their acting skills.

Sounds kind of like America's NPR (National Public Radio) ... except NPR doesn't live broadcast Congress, thankfully.

I listen to NPR all the time. NPR Politics podcast, New Yorker Radio Hour, Serial (when it's on), Fresh Air, and This American Life. I don't always have time for all of them, but I listen to most of their podcasts (or live radio if I happening to be listening at the time).

When I'm in the car I like to listen to America's Test Kitchen, All Things Considered, Science Friday.  Some days, if my blood pressure is too low, I will listen to Rushbo.  Used to listento clark Howard but he disappeasred fromlocal radio.
