Lost, 24, Prison Break, The walking dead, The 4400, Fringe ect . .. All been awesome to me!
The worst one I remember was when Stargate Universe was cancelled on a huge cliff hanger. They left a beloved character facing possible death by running out of air on a dying ship floating between galaxies. Jeeze, I wanted them to finish that series!!!

Though it wasn't the official ending ... Midway through the Babylon5 series, they made an episode that was an "ending", because they thought the series was going to be cancelled. I got choked up on that, more than the official ending.
Most recently the series finale of Downton Abbey got to me. Before that, the Cheers series finale and the last episode of Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show were the ones I most remember. St. Elsewhere I'm a bit on the fence about.
As far as I am concerned, the final episode of "Newhart" can't be topped.
