I'm not sure! But if people do that, it would be their loss.

Laughing improves the brain"s so called "Reward system" where it release and extend the "Dopamine" hormone levels.

This "Reward hormone" is a neurotransmitter that regulates mood,motivation, attention and learning. It triggers a feeling of pleasure psychologically.

Ray Dart's profile said that he smiled once but didn't like the experience. I'm sure he never laughed. >:-}

When my husband who was my boyfriend at the time and I broke up, his family and friends said he didn't laugh for the whole two years we were apart. I guess it's possible.

Personally, I found many times that if I didn't laugh I'd surely cry.

Hi
Megan! I really doubt it and I do wish that this doesn’t happen to anyone!
Laughter is actually a therapy and it’s scientifically proven that those who practice
it regularly have better health. However, in some cases, some people might decide
to force themselves to not laugh! If you notice such a case, you will know
straight away that it’s unnatural!
