Dear Answerer Omega,

I don't know who ever came up with this notion, but my high school English teacher told us that puns were the lowest form of humour? (And why do I still remember THAT, 55 years ago...)

Anyway I have to go with pun jokes being funnier, since politics there is nothing funny this year...

The funniest political jokes are too close to the truth for real laughter. I guess I'll vote for puns.

A sheepdog manages to pen all the sheep and reports to the farmer, "All 40 sheep accounted for." And the farmer says, "But I only have 36 sheep." And the sheepdog tells him, "I rounded them up."

Like "ants on a log" day today---I am way too literal and---perhaps worse---I find it not unusual to find a dog conversing intelligently with a farmer.

My dog can't speak English but I'm fluent in Canine. We have some great conversations.
