I watched the first episode this past week and I really like it. I'll keep on watching.

Jan! As far as 24 goes! Don't be worry the script is open! There's huge possibilities that Jack Bauer comes into the scene in an alternative-small loop involvement! Nothing clear! But it might happen! Also don't give up! 24 is awesome! As Kiefer said! The show, the idea always been bigger than characters. And he is himself an executive producer for 24:Legacy.
I did watch it because I remembered when the "Designated Survivor" policy was enacted. I hadn't thought of it for many years. The first episode was pretty good. I didn't like the fact they made the drug pushing son a primary point at the end. I felt it detracted from the rest of the episode. Overall I hope they build on the characters and it is a success.
