Only when I can't help it. My neighbor and his wife are always yelling at each other and it usually spills out to their rear deck. One time I saw them crawling on hands and knees on the back lawn for hours. I later found out that she took off her engagement and wedding rings and threw them in the backyard. They never found them. Wish I had a metal detector.
No, I usually wouldn't want to know about it anyway.
I ride the bus to and from work everyday....of course I do. :)
Sometimes you just can't help it. People are taking all about their business in public places. My husband is hard of hearing, even if he has his hearing aid in. Sometimes I will just look at him wide-eyed over something someone said and he has no clue why. Then I have to explain without the people hearing me.
With cell phones in full swing you can't avoid it.
I LOVE eavesdropping on people! They are so funny!
It was because of my eavesdropping that I learned the restaurant we were eating at was being robbed! The robber who was to keep everyone quiet whispered to our waiter "This is a robbery. Keep everyone sitting and quiet in your area."
THAT was not funny! 😒
All the time. I also like to "People Watch" and try to figure out what they are talking about and the status of a couple's relationship.
