What did you do that made you laugh at yourself?

I fell straight down into a foundation hole, about 9 feet. I busted up my ankle pretty bad and all I could do was lay there and laugh. The day before, my partner sunk a circular saw into his thigh. We were working out of state on a very time sensitive project so we both got patched up and kept gimping along for a couple of weeks until the house was finished. We both still laugh about it, 15 years later.

Oh geez.  So many times I put my Space Cadet cap on and bumble around the house.  Coffee pot in the fridge, milk in the pantry?  Must be Tuesday.

The other day a man was murdered on Interstate 80.  It was tragic, but I couldn't stop laughing.  His name was Earnest Kummer.

I'm a bad person.

Yesterday, I went to wash my sheets and found my half eaten candy bar lying so beautifully under my pillow. Not melted, just like I'd fallen asleep after one bite. Now I want to know how I could have forgotten about my candy bar, and why was it in pristine condition, why did I lose it in the first place? Am I losing my mind?!!?

We got turned down for a house recently and it bummed me out more then I let anyone know. Then on top of that my life group leader tells me she is stepping down from her leadership position and wanted to know if I wanted to take over leadership. I have wanted to be a life group leader for so long but not like this! So my heart is breaking. I am fighting tears. Of course I wasnt gonna turn it down then the question came up "where can you hold the meetings?" I immediately think to myself.... "Well we just got turned down for a house and now your leaving me soooooo a dumpster maybe?" Just as she said "think outside the box" and I burst into a hysterical laugh, then tears, then a hysterical laugh again followed by more tears. If only she knew what I was thinking.... She would have never said "Think outside the box" 😂😂😭😂😭😂😭😂😭😂😭😂 yah I'm a basket case sometimes! But I can laugh at myself!

Sometimes my days all run together. One morning as usual I got up, showered, got dressed, went downstairs made breakfast, woke my son and got him washed up and dressed. We ate breakfast went out to the car and drove off to school. After about a mile I turned on the radio. After a few seconds I made a "U" turn. My son asked whats wrong? Why did you turn around? I am going to be late for school. Then I started laughing. It was Saturday.
