Daniel Boone, the American pioneer and hunter, died at the home of Nathan Boone, which is located on Femme Osage Creek, Missouri, United States of America at the age of 85 on September 26, 1820. He was born on October 22, 1734.

He is one of the first folk heroes in the United States of America, and is best known for his exploration of and settlement in the area that is now known as the state of Kentucky in the United States of America.

He was one of the first explorers in the United States of America to go beyond the borders of the thirteen states of the United States of America which were the original colonies of the British. Despite stiff resistance from the native Americans, he entered the state of Kentucky in the United States of America, which was a traditional hunting ground of the native Americans.
