Tiny Toon Adventures first aired in 1990, and was created by Steven Spielberg and Warner Bros. Animation. The show was created as an attempt to match the success of shows such as Muppet Babies, which featured younger versions of well known characters. Tiny Toon Adventures was originally going to be a feature length film, but ended up as a television series instead.

One of the main characters, Buster Bunny, was based on Bugs Bunny, and most of the other characters were based on other famous characters such as Slyvester, Tweety Bird, Wile E. Coyote etc. The show was noted for its gross out humour and the appearance of celebrities with parody names.

The show ended in 1992, and a direct to video feature length film was released in 1991. The show run many awards and the style of the show was copied by 'Animaniacs, another animated show created by Warner Bros.
