Maybe the grudge is based on true story but your friend seeing thing are just in her mind. Its impossible to see that ghost. But that is just movie.

The grudge is a true story.but it is in china.although if she is seeing things it is either from watching to many scary movies or her head is messing with her.
The grudge is a fiction moive but if you do see it just say, God above me, God below me, God on the right of me God on the left of me, God infont of me, God behind me, God within me. And it will dissappear. For God can win any battle.
P.s. I am not tring to put my religious view on you its just that mum said that when she was young she did hear about God but didn't worship Him (now she does) and she use to have full on nightmares and her mum said to say that. Mum did it and never had any nightmares ever again. And when I'm scared, I sat it and it works.

Well... Your friend is probably lying. I do believe in ghosts and stuff, but the grudge is like, not believiable. It's all fake. If she saw it, she'd be dead and probably be locked in an insane place. It's just a movie. It's not a true story. I don't think people would live in Japan if it was real, right?
It possibly could be true, or not true. Maybe it's all in her mind and she's taking it way too seriously, so she's beginning to see things. But, she could also be lying, I mean... Wouldn't she be dead by now? The Grudge doesn't let you live. It will begin to torture you until it seeks you're fear, and then it would've killed you. Unless she has proven facts, then you know she's not lying... Otherwise, it probably isn't true...

It basic on a real story! History channel had it on there once talking bout history on tales and haunted story around the world and the grudge lady was one. Basic the story is like this she goes after those who cheated on there love ones but only come after then if you near the house or walk inside...
Well I do believe in ghost, in fact I actually once caught it on tape, but my brother deleted it. Although, the grudge does too many humany things like walking, instead of flying. She also has a face, and I watched this guy on youtube, and it was his wife, and you could see her hands. So ghost are real. The grudge is not. Congratz to the stars of the grudge.
