This movie is based on true stories of 2 parents who have a son named Lorenzo with a disease called adrenoleukodystrophy. Both parents searching a cure for this disease. There was no cure of this disease. All doctors and researchers refused to help. Both parents planed a mission to save their son. They set up camps in medical libraries, reviewed animal experiments and questioned researchers and doctors. Finally they got a treatment in the form of olive oil from which two specific long chain fatty acids removed. They used this oil in the diet of their son and their son started to improve. They contacted many firms of the world for the distillation of the formula and finally a British chemist working for Croda International agreed to start work.
