If you are talking Acoustic guitars, then I think that 40-41" long is about pretty standard.
There are also different sizes of body types and thicknesses.
Then there are "short scale" guitars.
They have 7/8, 3/4, 1/2 guitars, too
So a 7/8 scale guitar would measure about 36" long
A 3/4 size guitar would be maybe 30" long.
