In most of the newspapers, there are five departments, Editorial, production, distribution, advertising and sales department. Editorial department produces the stories and photographs that are to become a part of the newspaper. Then the production department produces or prints the news paper. The advertising department generates revenue for the newspaper by getting advertisement to be placed in the paper. The sales department markets it while the distribution department distributes it. The reporters submit the written reports to their editors who then read it and then to the rechecking desk from where it is sent for printing. After that the distribution departments distribute copies to the agents who give then to hawkers to be delivered to our door step.
