What type of martial arts does Jason Statham know?

Jason Statham stated that he aspired to be an olympic swimmer before he began his career as an actor. When asked how he learned to fight for the Transporter movies, he admitted to reporters that it was all camera angles, and that he had no formal martial arts training. He said Quote "I couldn't throw a punch to save my life.". He mentioned he had a limited range of motion in his left arm/hand, and that if you observed closely, you could tell his arm did not move much in some scenes.
