The popping sound created by the rapid release of gas creates small sonic booms and the human brain is fascinated by this.
Because with each little pop you can imagine you are squishing the heads of people that have gotten on your nerves that day. Secret imaginary revenge.... He he he. No seriously, you think that could be it?
I love doing it too.. Especially with my dog.. =D she love's it too!! Hahaha
when you are really board just go get some bubble wrap anyway i think people like it because it is fun and it makes popping sounds and and and... Well it is just fun if u don't like it u are a crazy nut!
