Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was the member of TLC who died after being involved in a car-crash.

TLC are an American girl-group, first active between 1990 and 2003, and then again from 2008 to the present. The group are known for their R&B and hip-hop style, and their frequent number-one hits in the nineties, including "Waterfalls" and "No Scrubs".
Lisa Lopes, known in the group as Left Eye, died after losing control of the Mitsubishi she was driving on April 25th 2002.
The car rolled several times before hitting two trees, and Lopes died of neck injuries and head trauma.
The moments leading up to Lopes' death were actually filmed, as she had been working on a documentary exploring her personal life in the month before the crash. The cameraman was filming in the passenger seat when they crashed, but Lopes was the only fatality.
After her death, the documentary was released as The Last Days of Left Eye and celebrated her life and career. The actual crash is left out of the film at the request of Lopes' family, but some of the footage taken in the car before the accident is still featured.
