Because she has wormed her way into the limelight and some people don't understand the history of Green Day and Billy Joe and they think she deserves to be where she is, when infact she' played everyone all along. Only fake fans have any respect for her

Green Day fans don't have to suck up to Adrienne Armstrong in order to be true fans, but they also don't have to hate her either.

Most of us in a relationship would like to feel like equal partners, it must take a lot of self confidence to feel like that if you're with someone like Billy Joe.
Also what about all his drugs problems and personal problems that he's had? She has been with him through the thick and thin, a lot of people are only around famous stars when the going is good - so I think she has earned the respect of many fans
