You might be thinking of the electronic track Technologic by French duo Daft Punk.
The lyrics do use the word "it" a lot!
The track was released in 2005, and is one the best-selling records Daft Punk have ever created. It also featured in numerous ads on TV (a few car ads among those I think).
The lyrics for "Technologic" are repetitive but very catchy:
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,
Drag and drop it, zip - unzip it,
Lock it, fill it, call it, find it,
View it, code it, jam - unlock it,
Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it,
Cross it, crack it, switch - update it,
Name it, rate it, tune it, print it,
Scan it, send it, fax - rename it,
Touch it, bring it, pay it, watch it,
Turn it, leave it, start - format it.
You can find the full lyrics on pretty much any lyrics site.
The track Technologic is very representative of the 'robotic' and 'retro-futurist' style that Daft Punk are all about.
Check out their outfits to see what I mean... They're well known for performing in helmets that make them look like Tron extras.
