The truth was uncovered by a Twitter account @AvrilMusicChart which the singer herself follows.
During a conversation on Twitter, Avril revealed that she was having some health problems which has kept her from performing or recording more music.
We all hope this is not true, I'm sure, but it is a little strange that this illness has come along only since they've been together!
There is another possibility that could explain months of hiding from the limelight and not performing... Could it be that Avril is secretly pregnant?!?
