Don't really know about twists in the plot, but I just watched "Unbroken" today....it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Identity (2003) - This movie is one of the best movies with a fantastic plot twist. My brother showed me this movie and I loved it!

A Beautiful Mind (2001)  - This is one of my favorites, with a similar twist as Identity. It's based on the true story of the American mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr.. Very intriguing.

Frailty (2001) - Other than this film being chilling, it has a good plot and an amazing plot twist that will make your mind go blank.

Donnie Darko (2001) - Best movie of all time, in my opinion. Its plot is exceedingly mind-bending and strange, and the main character is played by my favorite actor - Jake Gyllenhaal. It is very difficult to understand without further knowledge, but it is the most interesting movie - ever!

Ooh. I love making movie lists for people so bear with me while I ramble (I've linked to trailers of the movies - just in case you need convincing)

1. Vantage Point - The same story about an assassination attempt is shown from the points of view of different people. It can annoy you and at the same time, keep you at the edge of your seats.

2. Prestige - Takes some intellectual involvement, you can't watch this movie lightly but the intricate plot twists really had me biting my nails.

3. How to Train your Dragon 2 - It is an animated movie, yes, but the storyline was completely new and exciting.

4. Conjuring - Because horror/suspense/thrillers are the best!

5. Constantine - I am a bit biased about this movie because I love it so much. I don't want to say much and spoil it for you, but if you haven't watched it yet, go watch!

I hardly watch movies on TV .. I was swapping channel and they were airing Batman Dark Knight Rises on HBO, and in the end how the plot got twisted when it was not Bane who was the child of Ra'as al ghul but Miranda Tate.

I'm going to preface this answer with **SPOILERS** because there is nothing worse than finding out about a plot twist before you see the movie, so if anyone reading this doesn't want to know, then look away now...

1. The Sixth Sense

Starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, I think this movie has to be my favourite in terms of plot twists, and I have to say I never saw it coming. Osment plays a trouble child who can see and hear dead people, and Willis is his child psychologist. The twist comes at the end of the movie when it is revealed that Willis' character is in fact dead.

2. Fight Club

Another classic movie in terms of twists (and just in general), the protagonist here is played by Edward Norton, who forms a fight club with the magnetic Tyler Durden. As the film progresses, the Durden character gradually destroys the life of the protagonist, until the point where it is revealed that Durden is in fact a mental projection of the protagonist, and essentially a part of his own personality.

A great movie. Watch the trailer below:

I am usually very good at figuring out the twist before it happens. (It bugs my husband when tell hem the ending halfway through a movie) The one movie that stumped me until the end was 6th Sense.
