Does anyone actually still watch daytime Soap Operas?

My mother watches them but she's 90 years old and probably thinks she's watching a baseball game.

I like watching them when I want to make fun of something lol, they're really funny and way over dramatic. It's a great time to cheer up :D

I don't watch them....waste of time I think. I do however, know people who watch them....well, at least one!

Rooster. In Jail and prison these guys keep up better with them. 

I'm sure some people do - 20+ years ago I used to have a break between classes and would spend it in the student union lounge rather than going back to my apt for an hour, and they always had Days of Our Lives on - after watching it for a semester I was able to follow the characters and story pretty well - about a month ago I was flipping through channels and it was on, and I recognized some of the actors/characters (patch, kayla, etc) if they are still on after all these years then there must be a lot of fans.

I watch General Hospital sometimes when my mom is watching it. I just maintain the air that I hate it and think it is stupid, but I find myself asking her questions about what is going on in the show and finding it interesting.
