What's a horror movie that scared you as a child or just scared you?

I do not watch "horror" flicks, but the one that sticks in my mind that I watched as a child, was "The Thing" which by today's standards is mild, but it wasn't to me when I was a kid.
I love horror movies & anything related to horror, but they never scared me, not because they are bad, because i'm interesting in it, i'm part of it so i never find it foreign or strange to scare about it.
The movies that i love for now in compare of others are Insidious & Conjuring.

5. CSI scared the living heck out of me. I will never watch a horrible show like that ever again.
When I was very young, in a galaxy long, long ago, I saw "They came from outer space." A couple of times the movie showed the alien who came from outer space and it was TERRIFYING! I has nightmares for weeks. Saw the movie on late night cable vision a couple of years ago and was prepared for the alien and determined not to be frightened this time. I was so ashamed of my younger self - the "alien" looked like a third-grade paper mache project with extra glitter.
The Exorcist. I saw that movie a couple years after it came out 1973. Yes. I was 6 or 7 years old. That movie scared me as a child and I refuse to see it even now.
