Twice, and I won't be doing it again. IF I go out on that Friday, I go out later in the day after the crowds. Besides most stores run better deals before that day anymore.

If you pay attention to the stores you normally shop at, they have "Black Friday" prices all throughout the year, because nearly everyone is hurting for customers or competing with online sales. However, greed wins out every year and has the merchants opening earlier and earlier, trying to scoop up as many customers as they can. I've worked retail for many years. This is the first year in a long time, I don't have to work on Thanksgiving Day. Thank goodness!
No its kinda like going to time square where you can be trampled to death! Well, depending on the sale of course. And the rush that they are in. And the shoes they are wearing!
