An MSNBC host has stated that Star Wars is a racist saga because Darth Vader is wearing a black suit while committing terrible crimes against humanity and never claimed his son. Your thoughts?

Sheesh!!!

The term "you people" morphed into a insensitive racial slur after Ross Perot used it in addressing a primarily black audience during his presidential campaign in the 1990's.

I had learned it as child to be the equivalent to "you guys"---which simply denoted some group of people to whom you were referring.

I used "you people" earlier this year when addressing two black women at work and inadvertently wound up "inciting" them slightly. (That's when I researched the phrase and found the Ross Perot issue.)

Since that was not my intent, I apologized and have since eliminated it as a practical matter when addressing racially mixed groups informally.

That's just dumb ... Everybody knows Vader wears black because it's slimming.

And he doesn't commit crimes against Humanity.  Since it's in a "galaxy far, far away" there are no humans.

Did the host say the Stormtroopers represent violent white supremacists?

lol

What's even funnier is that Starwars fan took to her Twitter to ridicule her and poke holes in her theory. One of the holes being the white Stormtroopers, lol. Gotta love Starwars fans!

If that's racist, then every ladder made in the US is racist. The safety stickers show a guy in black doing the wrong thing and a guy in white doing the right thing. Take a look new ladders, that still have the stickers legible, when you're in a Home Depot or simular place.

Huh ... The ladder I just bought doesn't have that ... both are black, and the wrong has a red "no" circle/line

I'll take a picture of a ladder tomorrow at work, I pointed that out to one of the guys at work the other day, so I know there are ones at work.
