I wouldn't have a thing to do with Comcast Cable here and have been with Dish Network for almost 20 years and wouldn't switch for anything. Great customer service and one of the better priced ones out there.

Where I live, there are no cable tv services available. Everyone has Directv or Dish Network. I've used both and see good qualities in both of them. Every two or three years, I switch from one to the other in order to get a good subscription rate locked in and newer equipment for free.

Due to weather and terrain ... Most people around here have cable (Charter).  If they have satellite, they usually have to have at least 2 dishes to maintain a good signal.

Yes, Rich. Only the extremely wealthy here in post-Apocalyptic America have television or internet cable. If you think $1300/month for cable tv is expensive, the $5,000 price for a can of peaches should really blow you away.

Where I live, we have two choices: Comcast (blech) or Verizon Fios. Verizon has superior customer service and fewer glitches than Crapcast.

What do you do for internet Smiley?
Smiley Crankenhoof
I pay $80 for phone and DSL. DSL is the best we can do around here, unless we pay for satellite internet service.
