I had to wear a patch when I was a child too and went through various other treatments as well. I wore the kind with the adhesive from the store and hated it. The patch pals site sounds great and I wish it had been around when I was a child. You may also consider having your son decorate the patch himself and turn it into a fun activity for both of you. The other thing I suggest is explaining to him as best you can why the patching is necessary. My parents and my doctor only told me that I had to wear the patch and did not really explain why. Kids tend handle things a little better if they have some understanding about why they are being asked to do something. I think your daughter have same problem as mine
