I haven't, but I got a lady friend of mine to call one of my work mates, professing undying love for him as "The girl he'd met in London, who'd spent ages tracing him".
He'd been going on and on about his trip to London (he was/is a native of California). And we were all getting a bit bored with it.
I watched his face as the call came in and he was completely dumbstruck (an unusual state of affairs for him).
I've never told him.....
