That is absolutely the best (non-Pratchett) book I have read in the last 5 years. And you will find your sympathy with an out-of-control drunk grows. (There's also a terrific twist (of several) in there - but I won't spoil it for you.)
The biography of Linus Pauling.
A Mary Roach book that I forget the title of and I am not going out to my bookshelf to look either.
The autobiography of Mark Twain.
I'm reading two at the moment. Richard Dawkins's "The God Delusion" (it was a surprise gift from my son) and David Baldacci's "The Collectors" (the second of his Camel Club series).
The Night Land by William Hope Hodgeson
Cold Cold Heart by Tami Hoag
Another Cotton Malone novel ! Love this author ! He writes really good stories. Could Canada have been our 14th colony ?
This is what I'm reading at the moment. Very interesting :)
