Here is your random fun fact from me: There are currently eleven Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in Iowa, and I have visited one of them - Cedar Rock in Quasqueton, Iowa, built 1948 for Lowell Walter and wife.
Cedar Rock is quite tiny, originally part of Wright's Usonian project, intended to be affordable for the average working family and still stylish. It has a Zen garden, all of which was cared for by the couple themselves, no servants...and here is the garden room (served as living room).
